Employees are entitled to 27 days of vacation per year.

The vacation accrual runs from January to December. If an employee joins mid-way through the year, their entitlement will be pro-rated.

Vacation requests should be agreed by the employee’s line manager and requested via the system (http://bsci.holidaystool.com/login). Carry over must be taken by April 30th of the following year.

Additionally, employees are entitled to a day off on December 24 and December 31.

In July and August, we apply summer hours with a shorter working schedule, which allows for a better work-life balance and to enjoy time with family during the summer months. Throughout the year, employees work on Fridays from 8.00-14.15, compensated by longer days the rest of the week.
